Where possible, we would request that names/addresses of individuals be listed only when pertaining to immediate family or with permission. Please remember that we will always try to respect the privacy of individuals, therefore, we may need to alter a prayer request in order to maintain the privacy of those persons.

Prayers are requested for Kathy Bray and her family, whose mom Lydia, passed away in Scottsbluff yesterday. Services will be held Sunday. Notes of concern can be sent to Kathy at 813 Lexington Street, Carl Junction, MO 64834.
Prayers are also requested for Jim Smith, retired pastor and husband of Patty Smith serving ElDorado Springs UMC, who had surgery but is doing well. You can send cards to Jim at Rt 2, Box 338-D Flemington, MO 6565
Jim Smith, Retired Clergy, is doing better, but still needs our prayers as he continues to recover. Joe Edgington, Pastor at Liberty/New Liberty UMC, will be having surgery at Boone County Med Center in Columbia next Monday morning. This is Joe's second surgery in the last 2 months. Please keep both Joe and Jim in your prayers.
Prayers are requested for Jim Smith, husband of Patty Smith, pastor of El Dorado Springs/Jerico Springs. Jim has been experiencing several medical problems for over two weeks.
Prayers are requested for Debbie Schmidt, pastor at Sarcoxie/Diamond, who is recovering from a medical procedure done last Friday.
Please continue to hold Susan Thomas, District Secretary, in your prayers as she recovers from outpatient surgery last week. She is home recuperating, but is not expected to return to the office until some time next week. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
Joe Edgington, Pastor at Liberty/New Liberty, recently had surgery at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He is home recuperating and reports he is doing well! Please continue to hold Reverend Edgington in prayers for a complete recovery.
Please remember Rebecca Courtney and family in your prayers at the loss of her aunt, Mary Self, after a sudden illness. Rebecca is the District Administrator in the Southwest District Office.
